Hello! I am Nicole Anderson Founder and CEO of Hoop School which is a non-profit organization designed around providing outstanding services such as: Basketball fundamentals, development, mentoring, team building, coaching techniques, fitness, nutrition, motivation and communication. Our world is plagued with diverse issues and many that need immediate attention. Hoop School firmly believes that childhood obesity and life challenges are impacting the health and well-being of thousands of youth around the World. Via basketball and proper education on these matters. Our children can live healthier, improve their basketball skills and understand how to deal with challenges they face daily in society. Why basketball some may ask? I have dedicated my life to basketball, coaching, good health, well-being and educating our youth. Our future rest in their hands. Knowledge is power. Educating our youth is the most important tool we have to securing a future of taking responsibility for our health as a nation and world. Hoop School focuses on elementary age and middle age kids. These age groups are most affected I believe. We are committed to decreasing the childhood obesity rate one child at a time. The future is bright. Educating our youth on factors that contribute to obesity and overcoming adversity is Hoop School's priority. Overcoming adversity and limiting habits that lead to obesity is our way ahead. We give the children the tools to combat childhood obesity, adversity, self-esteem and communications barriers. We are 100% committed to the idea that our Hoop School works. Not only domestically but globally. This is evident with our clinics held in Japan. Yes Japan. Not only is childhood obesity a problem in the states but learning how to deal with adversity, overcoming obstacles, learning how to effectively communicate and work well with others is critical to future generations. Hoop School strategies, forums, and educational strategies are unique and do just that. WE WILL CHANGE THE WORLD!
